In an underpass of Melbourne’s central train station, Platform Gallery’s vitrines line each side of the passageway.

In each lint lined vitrine hangs an airbag, which has had a zip, inserted into it and igloo’s sewn into the bags smaller section.

The walls of each vitrine are covered with lint that has been collected from commercial launderettes in Melbourne city.

In the mid section of the airbag, where it attaches to a steering wheel, a building block is sewn into the material.
