Off-Site Installations

Off-Site Installations

Off-site projects have always been an important part of KIT’s work. Using temporary structures and mobile architectures to house projects or being presentedas the work itself has been a strategy often utilised by KIT to question the parameters of installation practice. Site-specificity has always been a factor in the way we produce projects for a given space and we feel that it is off-site projects, which often lead to the more pertinent questions being asked about the production and context of contemporary art.
